UniBank increased its assets by 57% to AZM 330 billion in 2005

The UniBank Commercial Bank (CB) increased its assets by 57% to AZM 330 billion over 2005.

As APA reports refering the head office of the Bank, the credit portfolio increased by 70% to AZM 235.8 billion and deposit portfolio by 75% to AZM 208.7 billion in the reporting year.

AZM 134.6 billion of it falls to share of deposits with fixed period (annual growth +87%) and AZM 117.3 billion of deposits with fixed period of physical persons (+81%).

According to the results of the past year, the incomes of UniBank formed AZM 53.3 billion (+69%) and balance sheet profit AZM 12.8 billion (+33%).

It should be noted that the ownership capital of UniBank increased by 32% to AZM 33 billion and aggregate capital by 28.3% to AZM 44.6 billion in the result of placement of additional emission of stock implemented in 2005 in order for the Deutsche Investitions Corporation of Germany to become one of the founders of the Bank.

As for today "UniBank" CB is already included in the first triplet of banks operating in Azerbaijan.
