Document on transportation of oil of Kazakhstan via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline will be signed in Baku by the end of this year.
APA was informed by Kazakh ambassador to our country Andar Shukputov. The ambassador stated that, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and Kazakhstan's "KazMunayGaz" company started talks on this in 2004 and the latest talks were held in Astana in summer this year. The document will be signed in Baku.
It must be noted that, 3.044 million tons of oil was transported to Baku from Aktau port of Kazakhstan in 2004 and 2.704 million tons was transported according to the information for 31 October this year.
