Azeri, Georgian and Kazakh transportation chiefs will discuss TRASSECA perspectives in Aktau

The meeting will focus on the development of cargo transit via TRACECA corridor and will discus perspectives for enlargement of the volume of transportations of container cargo.

A special coordinating group comprised of representatives from the Ministry of Transportation of Azerbaijan, the Georgian Ministry for Economic Development, and the Kazakh Ministry of Transportation and Communications, has been established to attract new shipments of cargo to flow through the TRASSECA rout.

Igbal Husseynov, the deputy head of the Azerbaijan State Railway Department was appointed the head of the coordinating group.
