First Caspian International Information Communication Technologies Conference starts tomorrow

The exhibition that will last two days was organized by an exclusive partner of the "Ite Group" exhibition company of Great Britain in the Caucasus "Iteca Caspian" and Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies.

The conference will cover most typical issues of ICT field including electronic government, electronic education, and creation of technical regulations in the country, electronic banking, control on the ICT field and perspective of forming the information society in Azerbaijan.

300 representatives from Azerbaijan and foreign countries will participate in the conference.
The Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov will open the conference. After him there will be speeches delivered by representatives of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, Information Center at the Central Election Commission, National Bank of Azerbaijan and other organizations.

Generally, about 50 presentations will be made at the conference. Besides, it is planned that a videoconference will be established between the conference participants and the US senator Kurs Veldon, the initiator of the “Smart Region” project connecting Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova countries.
