Goods turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey exceeds $283 m

$103.5m of the total falls on export from Azerbaijan to Turkey. The SSC also noted that Turkey with a share of 6.4% is referred to countries which carried out goods turnover with Azerbaijan in big volumes.

In this period Azerbaijan imported from Turkey iron wares, electric appliances, foodstuff, but exported to Turkey oil products, cotton, chemical substances, tobacco and leather wares.

Touching upon the amount of the goods turnover between the two countries in 2004 the SSC said last year the figure was $407.4m, or $105.4m more than previous year.
