Baki Telefon Rabitasi (Baki Telephone Communication) plans to provide CDMA sevices to subscribers

The Production Union (PU) Bakı Telefon Rabitasi (BTRİB), part of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (MCIT) plans to provide the subscribers with the CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) services.
The works on preparation of drafts in line with the developed project are currently underway, the PU told Trend. To ensure the above-mentioned technology PU will install CDMA transmitters on the TV tower, at Automatic Telephone Exchanges 438, 477 and 453/455.

PU also noted, the CDMA technology will be first introduced in the capital city and on the Apsheron peninsular.

«For the moment PU studies proposals from various IT companies on introducing this technology”, PU noted. As for the technical works they will commence in the IV quarter, PU said. Parallel to BTRİB, PU Aztelekom also carries out similar works with the Chinese Huawei Tech investment.
