"Gaseksport" resumed gas delivery to Azerbaijan

The 'Gaseksport' Ltd. (the branch enterprise of the 'Gasprom' Ltd.) resumed gas delivery to Azerbaijan after accident in the pipeline 'Shirvanovka-GaziMammad' passing through the territory of Dagestan on Thursday.

The 'Gaseksport' Ltd. is currently delivering to Azerbaijan 14,5 million m3 gas, 'Azerigas' JSC told Trend.

Azerbaijan received 2,6 billion m3 gas from 'Gaseksport' in January-June that 99 million m3 less than in the first half of 2004.

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan plans to purchase 6 billion m3 gas from 'Gaseksport' in 2005.
