Ganja motor automobile plant to increase its production share of local automobile assemblage

As the director Hanlar Fatiyev reported, up to 20% of parts used at assemblage of automobiles are planned to be manufactured at the plant itself.

"In the future, we are planning to increase these indices to 33%" - said H.Fatiyev. The plant has already manufactured samples of 10 different parts to pass appropriate testing.

At the present time Ganja plant expects to receive parts for assemblage of the next batch of parts. From the beginning of its reconstruction the plant produced 146 automobiles, 103 of which - this year.

The plant produces "Oka" automobiles. About 3 000 automobiles of this model are planned to be produced in 2005.
