German Bank proposes Azerbaijan issue of Euro-bonds

The SSC told Trend the meeting discussed the proposals by Deutschebank on organization of the issue of Azerbaijani euro-bonds.

Bongarts noted the necessity of issue of bonds for independent Azerbaijan. Babayev in his turn said that the sovereign rating of will enable Azerbaijan to enter the world capital market. "The debut of the country in the world financial market with the euro-bonds demonstrates the face of the state and its new and wide opportunities. After we can state with confidence on the integration into the European economic space," Babayev undefined.

During the discussions they noted the transmission of similar proposals by ABN Amro, Paribas, Commerzbank and different authoritative banks.
