Volume of building materials production in Azerbaijan to exceed 1B manats

In 2018, the volume of production of building materials in Azerbaijan in total terms is expected to reach 714.4 million manats, which is 25.8 percent more than in 2017, according to the concept of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan and the forecast indicators for 2019 and the next three years.

According to the government’s forecasts, the production of building materials will expand next years. Thus, in 2019, this figure will reach 778 million manats, in 2020 - 866.3 million manats, in 2021 - 929.1 million manats, in 2022 - over one billion manats.

Projections for the production of building materials until 2023:

According to the concept, in the coming years, the priorities in the building materials sector are to ensure consistency and sustainability of production, improve the quality of products up to international standards, attract investments in this sector, implement modern technologies, stimulate export and ensure the production of environmentally friendly products.
