The plane carrying out AHY-852 flight on Baku-Moscow route has returned because of the pressure drop in one of its hydraulic systems, according to the company.

The aircraft landed safely, no casualties, according to the message from AZAL.

"It was possible to fly with such a malfunction to the destination, however, given that the problem occurred immediately after the take-off, the commander of the crew decided to land at the base airport named after Heydar Aliyev in Baku,” said the message.

The cause of the malfunction is investigated by the special commission of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC.

The passengers will be dispatched to Moscow in a reserve plane at 13:00 (UTC/GMT +5 hours), May 21.
