
The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan (NCEA) Mammad Musayev was elected the Deputy Chairman of the Council of International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, a message from the NCEA published on Tuesday said.
The Council was headed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of Russia's State Duma Yury Shamkov. The chairman of Tajikistan's Chamber of Commerce Sharif Said and member of the Presidium of Estonian Business Association Tiit Vahi were elected his deputies. Audit Committee of the Congress was headed by the chairman of the "Eurocredit" bank Dmitry Pechalov.
The elections were held within the X Congress of the Assembly of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on October 9-11 in Moscow.
Azerbaijan was represented at the congress by the Vice President of NCEA Vugar Zeynalov, Secretary General of Azerbaijan's Confederation of Entrepreneurs Magomedali Efendiyev and Executive Director of "Elba" Ltd. Azar Muradov.
On the eve of the congress the Azerbaijani delegation and the Council of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Russia discussed the issues of economic development and organization of international business cooperation.
