Vietnam interested in studying experience of Azerbaijani Central Bank

Vietnam is interested in studying the experience of the Azerbaijani Central Bank (CBA) in the area of macroeconomic forecasting, a message from the CBA published on Monday said.

According to the message, a delegation of the Vietnam State Bank visited the CBA on September 24-26 for an exchange of experience with Azerbaijani colleagues. During the visit, the guests were briefed about the characteristics and work principles of the financial programming system and the used forecasting methods.

The Vietnamese delegation emphasized the benefit of Azerbaijan's experience and expressed a hope for further continuation of cooperation in this sphere.

A macroeconomic forecasting system based on financial programming has been used at the Azerbaijani Central Bank since 2005.
