Currency reserves of CBA surpass $12.7 bln

As of late June 2013, the total amount of currency reserves in the Azerbaijani Central Bank (CBA) reached $12.720.4 billion, the Azerbaijani Central Bank said on Wednesday.

According to the report, the CBA currency reserves increased by 8.8 percent since early 2013 or $1.025.6 billion (as of early 2013, the CBA's currency reserves amounted to $11.694.8 billion).

The currency reserve volume of the Azerbaijani Central Bank increased by 15.16 percent or by $1.674.1 billion per annum.
