Azerspace-1 completely ready for commercial exploitation

The first national telecommunications satellite of Azerbaijan Azerspace-1 after successful completion of all the test processes from April 2, was passed by U.S. company Orbital Sciences (manufacturer of the device) in full control of Azerkosmos of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Azerbaijan. As stated, the operation of the satellite transmission of Azerbaijani specialists has been conducted from March 15.

The satellite, as reported, is ready for commercial exploitation. Now experts of Azerkosmos control apparatus with the basic ground control center. The satellite can be seen also from the backup ground control center, located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan.
