SOCAR out of will to buy Turkish gas network

SOCAR did not plan to buy the Turkish gas network Baskent Dogalgaz (Ankara). It did not even take part in the tender for the network's privatization, SOCAR told Trend today, commenting on media reports that SOCAR failed to buy the gas distribution network in Turkey.

Turkish gas network Baskent Dogalgaz (Ankara) became fully privatised last week with Torunlar G?da Sanayi having raised the highest bid of $1.162 billion.
