Azerbaijan, Uruguay discuss transport cooperation

 Transport minister of Azerbaijan Ziya Mammadov has today met special envoy, ProSecretary of the Office of the President of Uruguay Diego Cánepa.

Mammadov briefed Cánepa on the ongoing transport projects in Azerbaijan. He noted development of transport sector was one of priorities in Azerbaijan. The minister also spoke of the works done in Baku International Sea Trade Port. He noted the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project is near completion.

The sides also discussed a wide range of issues, including expansion of bilateral cooperation and implementation of joint projects.
