Azerbaijan, China seek to boost air-links

The delegations of the State Civil Aviation Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) agreed the draft of Intergovernmental Air Services Agreement and signed the relevant bilateral document, Azerbaijani State Civil Aviation Administration said on Wednesday.

The document was signed late last week.

In addition, the designated airlines of both sides were given new opportunities to operate the regular flights between the two countries.

Representatives of CJSC "Azerbaijan Hava Yollari", "Silk Way Airlines" and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the People's Republic of Chine also participated in the negotiations from the Azerbaijani side.
