Planned work on ACG considered

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with BP regional president for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gordon Birrell and vice-president on foreign affairs and security Huseyn Mammadov on Monday, the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.

The sides discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and BP, joint projects and exchanged views on the planned activities of the International Operating Company, operated by BP, in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea, including Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field.

Birrell expressed satisfaction with the current state of cooperation with Azerbaijan, noting that the country is one of the closest partners of BP.
