Currency reserves of CBA jumps

Foreign exchange reserves at the Azerbaijani Central Bank (CBA) were $11.694.75 million at the end of 2012, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan said today.

The Central Bank's reserves increased by 11.6% or by 1.213 million during 2012.

CBA Deputy Chairman Avtandil Babayev told the media earlier that the Central Bank of Azerbaijan plans to increase foreign exchange reserves at its disposal up to $15 billion by late 2013.
