Cargo and passenger transportation ups

 According to the State Statistical Committee (SSC), 108.12 million tones of cargo and 1.3 bln passengers were transported via vehicles in January-November, 2012 in Azerbaijan. Cargo turnover increased by 7.6% and passenger transport by 8.7% in comparison with outcomes of 2011.

According to the State Statistics Committee, 96.3% of the passengers were transported via buses, while 3.7% via taxis.  The number of the passengers who used metro was 177 mln and it increased by 7% in comparison with last year.
