Azerbaijan, Argentine sign agreement on tax data exchange

Azerbaijan and Argentine have signed an agreement on tax data exchange as Head of the Federal Administration of Public Revenue in Argentina Ricardo Echegaray has today visited the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan, where he met Minister Fazil Mammadov.

Prior to the meeting, Ricardo Echegaray visited national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev`s grave at the Alley of Honors and then the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity.

Addressing the meeting, Mr. Mammadov noted that bilateral relations between the two countries have steadily developed over the past years. On importance of the reciprocal visits, he described this as a positive indicator of the fruitful cooperation.The Minister also noted that Ilham Aliyev`s economic policy stood all of the country`s gaining successes.

Mr. Mammadov also briefed Ricardo Echegaray on tax reforms carrying out in the country.
Ricardo Echegaray, in turn, said that Azerbaijan had established good relations with European, as well as Eastern countries.

He also noted that there were great opportunities for expansion of the relations between the two countries in economic, social and other spheres and stressed the importance of the data and experience exchange in the tax administration sphere.
Following the meeting, the sides have signed agreement on tax data exchange.
