Baku hosts seminar for businessmen

Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Economic Development in collaboration with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) has organized a seminar on "Effective Participation in International Trade Fairs" in Baku.

The agenda included such topics as the importance of market research for the establishment of export, fundamentals of market studies, identifying target markets, international transport conditions Incoterms and export bank payments.

Speaking at the event, deputy chief of Department for Entrepreneurship Development under the Ministry of Economic Development Huseyn Pashayev highlighted Azerbaijan`s economy, including development of entrepreneurship and investment climate.

He noted the importance of cooperation with the GIZ and Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, saying “holding seminars will become a good practice among businessmen in learning international experience”.

Managing Director of Fairconcept GbmH Company also made a speech at the event.
German trade fair organisers which are members of Association of the German Trade Fair Industry and Special Association for Fairs and Exhibitions, make their in-depth knowledge of events and industry available to customers not only in Germany but also around the world.
In order to emphasise the top quality of German trade fairs abroad, AUMA has developed the label “GTQ – German Trade Fair Quality Abroad”.

To obtain the GTQ-label German organisers have to own the basic concept of the trade fair, manage the concept realisation, draw up the budget, and control the international marketing.
