Bakcell to launch 4G service in 2013

Azerbaijan’s first mobile communication operator Bakcell can provide 4G services from next year, said the Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov.

According to him, Bakcell is ready to provide this service and expected to obtain relevant license in the near future: “There are only certain technical issues that will be resolved in short-run. I hope, Bakcell will start to provide 4G services from next year”.
