Azeri businessmen invited to exhibition in Turkey

Azerbaijani entrepreneurs have been invited to the Tureks International Exhibition, AZPROMO stated.

The event will take place in Istanbul on December 6-9.

The exhibition will feature special equipment and installations for use in the parks for recreation.

Given Azerbaijan's interest in development of the tourism sector in the country, participation in such events can bring positive results, as amusement parks are one of the most attractive places for tourists.

Earlier, Tourism Department head Aydin Ismiyev said that within the six months of 2012 the number of foreigners visiting Azerbaijan, hit 1 880 823 people which is 7.1 percent or 72 264 more than compared to same period last year. The number of foreigners visiting Azerbaijan last year, amounted to 2 239 141 people, with 1 836 226 of them tourists.
