Azerbaijan sees growth in cargo transportation via sea

 In January-August 2012, the cargo transported via sea transport rose 0.4% to 10.3 mln tons.
State Statistical Committee says 61.2% of cargo was oil cargo, 38.8% - dry cargo. All transportations were carried out on foreign connections. 9.9 mln tons of shipping and unshipping works carried out via sea ports and 0.3% growth was recorded. International transit cargos made 2.1 %.
