Italy hosts conference on Azerbaijan`s business opportunities

A constitutive conference of the Italia-Azerbaijan Trade Institute on promotion of economical relations between the two countries has been held at the Emperor Adrian museum in Rome, Italy.
The event entitled “Italy and Azerbaijan: business partners- owners` opportunities and prospects” has brought together representatives of several state and business organizations of Italy.

Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Italy Vagif Sadigov briefed the participants on the country`s socio-economic development, as well as expanding of Azerbaijan-Italy relations. Chief of department of Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Economic Development Orkhan Mammadov delivered a report the country`s business and investment opportunities.

President of the Rome Chamber of Commerce Giancarlo Cremonesi added that Azerbaijan not only has rich economic and business potential but also was a sample of multiculturalism and religious tolerance.

Diplomatic Advisor of Ministry of Economic Development of Italy Daniele Mancini said that Azerbaijan was an important partner for Italy, adding there was great potential for economical cooperation between the two countries in energy, non-oil spheres.
