'GB is proud of being largest foreign investor in Azerbaijan'

 British Ambassador in Baku Peter Bateman has said his country is proud of being the largest foreign investor in Azerbaijan.

“Great Britain is proud of its status of the largest foreign investor in Azerbaijan. This relationship serves to the benefit of both countries` people,” he said. Bateman welcomed the appointment of Charles Henry to the post of Great Britain`s trade representative in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

“Charles Henry`s appointment will contribute to expanding the Azerbaijan-Great Britain relations.”
“Henry knows both the region and Azerbaijan very well. British companies work not only in oil-gas sector, but also in construction and retail trade fields of Azerbaijan. We hope that Azerbaijani companies will also expand their activity on the British market,” Bateman added.

British PM David Cameron on November 12 appointed Charles Henry as the country`s trade representative in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
