Azerbaijan parliament completes discussion of 2013-draft budget

The Azerbaijan parliament has set November 30 for finalization of the 2013 draft state budget, the Parliament Speaker Oktay Asadov said at a meeting on Thursday.
Three days of debates on the 2013 draft state budget of Azerbaijan were completed today.

The necessary changes will be made to the draft budget within 15 days, and then, onNovember 30, it will be submitted to the Parliament for approval.

Revenues of next year's state budget of Azerbaijan are projected at $19.154 billion manat (34.2 percent of GDP projected for 2013), with expenses of 19.81 billion manat (35.2 percent of GDP).

The budget package includes the draft laws: 2013 State budget, 2013 budget of the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan, the cost of living, the level of need criteria, and cost estimates for the 2013 Parliament and the 2013 Chamber.
