SOCAR buys Itera Georgia Co.

SOCAR has purchased stakes of Itera Georgia Co, which is engaged in gas distribution in Georgia. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev says at present, except Tbilisi, SOCAR covers the existing gas network in the entire Georgia.

‘It is very good business. That is, we can sell our gas directly’, he added. As to price of Itera’s stakes, Abdullayev noted that the sum of the bargain was not so big.
