BTC transports over 2.3 million tones of oil

The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) export pipeline transported 2,261,957 tones of Azerbaijan oil in September.

According to SOCAR, in January-September, a total of 22,925,721 tones of oil were exported through the pipeline. Since the start-up the pipeline has shipped 198.703.421 million tones of crude.

Also in September some 217,264 tones of crude oil from Turkmenistan were transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan route.
