Baku to host CoE social conference

A conference on Council of Europe (CE) social unity might be held in Azerbaijan in 2015, the Azerbaijani Labor and Social Social Protection of Population stated on Friday.

This proposal was discussed at the conference on social unity of CE state members on 'Establishment of safe future for all' with participation of ministers, where Azerbaijan was represented by delegation headed by Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Fizuli Alekperov.

Within the conference Alekperov noted Azerbaijan's achievements in field of social and economic progress, introduction of social programs in the country, settlement of issues regarding social unity and some others.

Declaration of ministers was adopted in the framework of the event.

The first conference took place in Moscow in 2009.
