Azerbaijan`s State Oil Company SOCAR offers up to a 29% stake in the planned Trans-Anatolia gas pipeline (TANAP) to its partners in the Shah Deniz oilfield, BP, Statoil and Total, Rovnag Abdullayev, SOCAR President, said.
He added that the offer concerns “not all the parties of Shah Deniz consortium, but only the huge companies that will support us in this project”. TANAP is the continuation of Shah Deniz, but not its part, Abdullayev said, adding that SOCAR will leave for itself 51% of TANAP.
