Azerbaijan awarded gold certificate for Express Mail Service

Within the 25the Congress of the Universal Postal Union, a meeting of UPU Express Mail Service Cooperative is being held in Doha, Qatar.

According to press service of Azerbaijani Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, in accordance with outcomes of 2011, Azerbaijan was awarded a gold certificate for Express Mail Service for the 6th time.

Independent consulting companies conduct inspection and assessment of qualities of the services rendered by EMS operators across the world during a year, thereafter the results are announced.
The certificate was presented to Azerbaijani delegation by UP Director-General Edouard Dayan.
The congress will last until October 15. Azerbaijan was represented by employees of Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies. At the end of congress, UPU final acts will be adopted.
