SOCAR announces volume of exported oil products for 2012

 This September the Marketing & Economic Operations Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) failed to bring export of petroleum products up to January 2012 level (117,249 tons), this year’s still best index.

According to the SOCAR, overall export of Azeri oil products totaled 87,986 tons in September, including 8,665 tons of motor petrol, 70,991 tons of diesel fuel, 7,439 tons of jet fuel, and 891 tons of furnace fuel.

"Over Jan-Sept 2012 export totaled 842,556 tons, including 58,157 tons of motor petrol, 696,180 tons of diesel fuel, 85,796 tons of jet fuel, and 2,423 tons of black oil fuel," the report says.

In 2011 export reached 1.448 million tons (including 104,269 tons in December) and in 2010 – 1.846 million tons.

In 2009 overall export of petroleum products made up 1.968 million tons versus 2.58 million tons over 2008.
