Passenger transportation via air transport ups

The State Statistical Committee says in January-August, 1.1 mln passenger were transported via air transport, up 14.8% from year earlier. Of this, 98.6% was carried out by state sector, 1.4% - by private sector.

Cargo transportation via air transport soared 18.7% to 37,300 tons.
