Azerbaijan ups car import

In Jan.-June, Azerbaijan imported 45,76 cars, or 43,4 percent more than in Jan.-June 2011, Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the total cost of passenger cars imported in Jan.-June exceeded 443,18 million, which is 38,5 percent more than in Jan.-June 2011.

In Jan.-May, Azerbaijan imported 5595 trucks, which is 93,7 percent more than in Jan.-June 2011.

The total cost of imported cars exceeded $134,5 million or 142,5 percent more than in Jan.-June 2011. In Jan.-June the country imported 635 buses, which is 111 percent more than in Jan.-June 2011

In Jan.-June buses were imported to the amount of $36 million, which is 193,1 percent more than in the same period of 2011.
