Azerbaijan’s gold reserves reach $ 38 mln

The State Service for Control on Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the Ministry of Finance has received its profit share – 4,900 troy ounces (152.4 kg) of gold extracted in Gadabay, after purification in Geneva and were placed in Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to Ministry of Finance, beforehand, 16,512.9 troy ounces (513.6 kg) of 999.9 carat gold bullion was received and saved in the Central Bank.

As of today, Azerbaijan’s gold in Central Bank reached 21,413.4 troy ounces (666 kg). Market value makes $ 37.9 mln.
