SOCAR interested in U.S. energy market

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is interested in entering the U.S. energy market, Deputy Vice President of SOCAR, Vitaly Baylarbayov said in his speech at the conference "Oil, Gas & Media".

He said the company has opened a representative office in Washington, and another office is expected to be opened in Houston in the near future.

"We are interested in the U.S. market. You will know about the question when these projects will be deployed," Baylarbayov said.
