Museum exhibits comprising jewelries under hallmark procedures in Azerbaijan

On the basis of appeals of museums, operated in Azerbaijan, the State Service for Control on Precious Metals and Stones under the FinMinistry conducts expertise on jewelry and other household products made of precious metals and precious stones.

The ministry reported that in connection with the movement of Azerbaijan Carpet and Applied Art State Museum named after Latif Karimov to new building until the end of 2012, a working group comprising specialists of the Service has been established in order to conduct expertise of nearly 800 exhibits in the collection of jewelries, protected at the museum. The working group is working at mobile laboratory equipped with special devices and equipments belonging to the Service.
