Siltek Azerbaijan presents new SILKOT machines - PHOTOS

Siltek Azerbaijan presented in Baku SILKOT machines - new products used for repair of asphalt roads.


Czech company Siltek is an exclusive worldwide supplier of this unique machine. Siltek is a patent holder of a unique technology used in SILKOT machines.


In Azerbaijan Siltek is represented by Siltek Azerbaijan Company. Siltek Azerbaijan is a subsidiary of SKAZ Holding owned by Mr. Abdul Kadyrov, a hundred percent founder of the holding.


SKAZ Holding carries out activity in various fields of business and industries such as automobile production, glass making, construction and repair of roads, and tourism.


As a result of talks between academician Abdul Kadyrov, founder of Siltek Azerbaijan, and Czech manufacturer, in 2011, there was signed a contract on official distributorship of Siltek in Azerbaijan.

- Mr. Abdul Kadyrov, what are the advantages of Siltek machines, presented in Azerbaijan by your company?


- At present, Siltek Azerbaijan has presented several Silkot machines to the Azerbaijani market. Companies that purchased and use our machines for repair of roads are very satisfied. This is a result of a number of advantages of technologies used in our machines.


The significant advantage of this technology is the use of milling waste of asphalt surfaces - recycled material. The use of recyclate allows utilization of problematic wastes without pollution of the environment. Unlike many other machines, Silkot can be successfully used in winter at temperatures up to -10 °C. The repaired area will not crack in future.


Maintenance and repair of the machine is easy. Maintenance is Carried out by only two trained workers.

As compared with other technologies, repair is 2 - 2.5 times cheaper, easier, and most important, more ecologic.

New maintenance and repair technology, used in SILKOT machine, improves parameters of asphalt road and thus extends the service life for 3-5 years.


- Mr. Abdul Kadyrov, benefits in the cost of repair and ecologic compatibility are undeniable. How long does repair of a road take with Silkot machines?


- A significant advantage of Silkot machines is their size and speed of repair roads. During the use of our machines there is no need to close all the way. Silkot takes half the strip for only 20-30 minutes, without inhibiting the traffic. That is the time required for Silkot to repair large potholes. The machines can repair hole with the depth of 15 centimeters. 10 minutes after the completion of the repair of recent pothole, even trucks may easily drive on the road.
