SOCAR to sponsor big projects

 SOCAR conducts talks with banks of different countries for involving of loan connected with implementation of big projects, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said.

To him, the company intends to attract $3 bln loan from abroad in relation to construction of Star oil refining plant in Turkey. $2 bln of it will be involved from Exim Banks, $1 bln – will be commercial loan. Among the Exim Banks there are financial institutions of Japan, Korea, US, France, Spain and etc: ‘Those companies will take part in the agreements; we intend to involve loans from their states’.
