Azerbaijan-Netherlands trade jumps

 “Trade between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands has grown 42% in the firts seven months of 2012, Azerbaijani economic development minister Shahin Mustafayev told a a joint business forum.

“The share of imports in this growth made 12.5%, while exports made 29%”.” According to the minister, the volume of Dutch investment in Azerbaijan makes $365 milion.

“Azerbaijan and Netherlands may widen relations on different fronts, including tourism, construction, water usage, agriculture, alternative energy sector. Today, about 70 Dutch companies are operating in Azerbaijan in different sectors. Up to date, Azerbaijan and the Netherlands have signed about 10 documents in various fields so far.”
