MEPs visit Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry

A delegation of the European Parliament on August 31 met the Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy Gulmammad Javadov. The meeting held in Baku at the Ministry of Industry and Energy, focused on the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU in various spheres.

Delegation of the European Parliament arrived in Baku on August 30. As part of the visit, the European Parliament’s delegates will visit the IDP settlement in Agdam and then travel to Shamakhi region of Azerbaijan.

The delegation will also hold meetings with Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov, vice-president of SOCAR Elshad Nasirov, Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev and Azerbaijani delegation to Euronest PA.

The European Parliament delegation is visiting Azerbaijan at the invitation of Elkhan Suleymanov, Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to Euronest PA.
