27 August 2012 [11:53] - TODAY.AZ
Baku car market supplies in July fell by 0.2 percent, "Participants of the property market" public organization told Trend today.

According to the information, despite the relative decline in supply at the market, the surplus trend continued in July.

However, the decline in demand and the dynamics of the market did not affect the change in the average price on cars in July.

"Reducing the dynamics at the market led to an increase in property exposition period, which rose at the secondary market by 0.8 percent - to 43.3 days," the experts of the organization said.

In July, the organization monitored the secondary car market. Over 15,900 cars were monitored. About 24.3 percent were presented at the market in July and 75.7 percent remained from the previous months. The flow of old cars to the market has declined for the last three months as opposed to the previous months.

Supplying Mercedes cars, having a leading position at the secondary market, fell by 1.1 percent in July compared to June. The share of cars of this brand at the market is 35 percent.

About 86.7 percent falls to the share of the nine car brands in the market portfolio, the remaining 13.3 percent falls to more than 80 brands of over 20 automotive companies.
