IMF Baku mission head changed

 Nadeem Ilahi has resigned as head of the International Monetary Fund’s mission in Azerbaijan.

The Fund reports that Raja Al Marzougi has become the new head of the IMF mission. He will pay his first visit to Azerbaijan on 8-20 November for standard consultations with the government.

Azerbaijan stopped borrowing from the Fund and is to complete in 2015 repaying the earlier received loans. The volume of annual payments is much below $5 million.
