Design of Azerbaijan's national currency to be changed

Azerbaijan will improve the design and protection of banknotes, told the information by CBA related to 20th anniversary of national currency.

According to information, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan has started the issuance of national currency - manat in order to maintain a high level of reliability and attractiveness of the banknotes in local currency. Central Bank launched a project to prepare the design and the protection of banknotes of a new generation, which will meet modern standards.

Remind that, the banknotes of the current sample were released into circulation in 2006, according to the decree of the president as a result of the denomination.
