EKOL completes cleaning land for SOCAR

Ekol muhendislik xidmetleri has completed the process of bioremediating oil sludge in the second filed facility of the Amirov oil and gas department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), the company said on Thursday.
According to the report, the work was conducted in an area of ??five hectares. The analysis of samples taken from wells at a depth of 0.2-0.4 meters in five points showed that the oil products content in the soil after the work declined to 0.15-0.79 percent from 8.10 percent earlier.

Co-founders of Ekol Muhendislik Xidmetleri, created on March 1, 2006 to address existing environmental problems of the Absheron Peninsula, are SOCAR - 51 percent and Lancer SA Services - 49 percent.
