The real estate market of Baku observes a trend of growth of prices and activity.
Nusret Ibrahimov, general director of consulting company MBA Group, informs that in April prices rose by 0.9%, by 1.6% against early 2012, and by 5.9% against March 2011.
"Prices in the primary housing market of Baku in April dropped by 2.3% from $872 to $852 per sq m, by 0.3% versus early 2012 and by 6.5% against the same term of last year. At that, prices on the secondary market grew by 0.3% for April from $1,432 per sq m up to $1.437 per sq m, by 4.1% against early 2012 and by 4% versus April 2011,” Ibrahimov said.
He added that the Baku land market in April also showed a price rise of 0.7% from $21,679 up to $21,830, by 8.1% against early 2012, and by 11.9% for year. The prices on the market of commercial buildings rose for April by 4.5% from $3,148 up to $3,290, by 4.5% versus January, and by 2.7% against April 2011.
"Prices for rental apartments increased by 1% from $10.6 per sq m up to $10.71 sq m, by 4.3% against early 2012, by 7.1% against the 2011 same term,” Ibrahimov said.
