Azerbaijan's currency exchange market jumps

The total volume of trades of currency section in accounting month on USD/AZN has made 83.810 million manat or 106.658 million in dollar equivalent, BBVB said today.

In comparison with indicators of February in accounting month the total volume of trades in currency section has increased on $ 59.358 million or in 2.3 times.

The average daily turnover in "Bourse E-System of Trades" on USD/AZN reached approximately $ 6.666 million, then that the average volume of each transaction has made $ 3.047 million.

In total 13 banks have taken part in the trades of currency section of the BBVB in March 2012.

In accounting month in "Bourse E-System of Trades" (BEST) 32 trading sessions are conducted and 35 transactions are registered.

It is necessary to note, that exchange rate of national currency on tool USD/AZN_TOD in accounting month has decreased by 0,05 percent from 0,7853 to 0,7857 for 1 USD. Thus the US dollar average rate in consideration to manat has made in March, 2012 - 0,7858 AZN for 1 USD, against 0,7859 AZN following the February.
